Our Story

Cherish AFH LLC was founded from both professional experience and personal love.

Our founder, Salvy, began her journey in caregiving as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), providing one-on-one care for seniors in their own homes. Through those years, she learned that quality care is not only about assisting with daily needs — it is about patience, companionship, and preserving a person’s dignity and independence.

 

Salvy's understanding of elderly care became even deeper when her own mother was diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. As a caregiver and daughter of someone needing compassionate care, she gained a true appreciation of the emotional, physical, and practical challenges families face. She experienced firsthand the worry, the responsibility, and the need to trust someone with the well-being of a loved one.

With the support of her family, she created Cherish AFH LLC with a clear purpose: to provide the kind of care she would want for her own family.

Our home is built on compassion, respect, and attentiveness. We understand the vulnerability that comes with aging and memory loss, and we approach every resident with patience, kindness, and understanding. With licensed caregivers, 24/7 supervision, and individualized care plans, we strive to support not only the health and safety of our residents but also their emotional comfort. It is our promise to cherish the loved ones entrusted to us by honoring dignity, protecting safety, and nurturing comfort every day — this is the Cherish way; care that feels like home.
